Single-cylinder four-stroke engine with four-valve overhead camshaft distribution and liquid cooling. It's not as technologically advanced as 350cc, but it's time-tested, reliable and powerful.
I use it every day for commute in Limassol for 2 years. Mechanically in good condition, engine and gearbox run great, never had any bad issue.
I had full maintenance including drive belt change 5000km ago. Oil service every year (3000 km).
New top-tier scooter Metzeler tyres installed 5000km ago.
Its 12 years old, so the drawbacks also in place:
- Brown plastic is damaged by sun
- Adjustable suspension is not adjustable anymore
- Trunk and gas servo (electronic lock) works not perfect
- Poweroff button better be replaced
Overall this issues are not urgent and not affect ride.
