Role OverviewBehalf of a client a very dynamic new group in the Horeca industry we are seeking a commercially driven In-House Chief Accountant to manage financial operations, deliver real-time performance insights, and support strategic decision-making.This role goes beyond accounting—acting as a finance business partner responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and profitability optimisation.Key Responsibilities1. Financial Operations & Ledger Management• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts• Ensure accurate posting of all financial transactions• Perform daily/weekly reconciliations (cash, POS, bank)• Cashflow analysis• Manage accounts payable & receivable cycles2. Payroll & HR Finance• Export monthly payroll from Methodos software in line with Cyprus regulations• Track labour costs, overtime, and departmental allocation• Ensure compliance with social insurance, tax, and benefits• Provide monthly payroll analysis vs budget3. Weekly Financial Analytics• Deliver weekly performance dashboards, including:o Revenue by outlet (restaurant, beach, bar, events)o COGS % and margin trackingo Labour cost % vs revenueo Spend per cover / guest behaviour• Highlight variances and operational inefficiencies• Support management with actionable insights4.
