About the Position

This is more than a nail technician role — it’s your first step into leadership. As a Shift Leader / Senior Nail Technician, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Salon Manager and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the salon.

You’ll lead by example, inspire teamwork, and help create a positive, high-performing salon culture. From supervising daily operations to maintaining service standards, your presence will help ensure every client leaves feeling their absolute best.

Key Duties

Deliver high-quality nail treatments while managing supervisory responsibilities

Support the Salon Manager with daily operations and decision-making

Maintain exceptional customer service standards and resolve concerns professionally

Oversee opening and closing procedures

Ensure the salon remains clean, organised, and fully stocked

Assist with stock control and inventory management

Train and mentor new team members

Monitor team performance and support development plans where needed

Contribute to staff scheduling to ensure optimal coverage

Encourage and support retail sales tailored to each client

What We’re Looking For

Strong manicure and pedicure experience (additional beauty therapy skills are a plus), strength in other beauty treatments over manicures and pedicures may also be considered instead

Previous experience in a senior or supervisory salon role

Full-time availability

Up-to-date knowledge of nail techniques, products, and trends

Excellent attention to detail and precision

Strong communication and customer service skills

A team-oriented mindset
