A rare and authentic antique Swiss-made open-face fob pocket watch, likely dating from the period between 1888 and 1934. The watch is in good aesthetic condition and is currently in working order, keeping time.

Case & Hallmarks:The case is made of genuine 800 grade silver, confirmed by multiple official hallmarks on the inner case back It features the Swiss "Capercaillie" (grouse) control mark and the German "Crescent Moon and Crown" national import mark.This indicates it was a Swiss watch made for the German market. The exterior has an engine-turned (guilloché) back design with a blank central cartouche, and the inner dust cover has a gilt (gold-wash) finish. The total weight is approximately 24 grams.

Movement: Features a 10-jewel ("10 Rubis") cylinder escapement movement. It is a stem-wind mechanism and time is set via the traditional pin-set method (pressing a small pin while turning the crown).

Dial & Hands: The dial is a clean, plain white enamel/porcelain with black Arabic numerals. The hands are gold-coloured (gilt metal) in a stylish "spade" (hour) and "whip/baton" (minute) design.
