A striking and highly decorative vintage serving set, with elegant swirling floral motifs running along the length of the handles. The design has a classic oriental / Middle Eastern influence, with scrolling arabesque style patterns and soft curves that catch the light beautifully. The silver tone surface shows natural aged patina and darker areas settled inside the decoration, giving depth and age character.

Like the other set, these handles are also not the typical flat type. They are thick, rounded and sculptural in form, giving a beautiful presence and a very special look. At the top of each handle there is a decorative domed cap detail with a small red cabochon style accent, adding a unique final touch. Each piece is made from the two main components – the decorative handle construction and the heavier metal serving end attached to it.

These are large decorative serving pieces:

• the spoon measures approx. 26cm and around 112 grams

• the fork measures approx. 25.5cm and around 106 grams

Natural small imperfections and light marks from age and handling can be seen on the surfaces. These details confirm authentic older production and add charm and personality.

A rare and unusual vintage serving set – ideal for display, for collectors of ethnic metalwork, or as a beautiful accent in a rustic or vintage styled interior.
