Benelli bkx 125
BKX 125 is the new Benelli adventure bike series for the youngest generation of riders, designed for those who want to explore new routes, enjoying the freedom of riding. As an all-rounder motorcycle, it is easy and light, made to offer maximum handling and control on any surface, with loads of fun. The Benelli BKX 125 is made for those approaching to the world of adventure, making lightness and ease its winning weapons. An all-rounder soul that is perfectly matched to a chassis oriented to riding pleasure, wrapped into a unique and innovative style.
The BKX 125 was born from the pencil of the Centro Stile Benelli in Pesaro, which has focused on simple, soft and clean lines, with great attention to detail, achieving a design that captures attention at first glance. This is due to a front headlight with a strong personality: starting with the DRL, modern and unique, shared with the ‘S’ road version, while at the rear the brake lights are integrated into the turn indicators. On the front, the indicators are integrated into the hand guards: a premium detail rarely seen on motorbikes of this displacement.
The BKX 125 features a steel trellis frame and a Ø 41 mm front fork that is fully adjustable in preload, compression, and rebound. This is a premium feature in a very accessible segment, highly sought after by our R&D department, allowing young riders and beginners to experiment with chassis setup and discover endless tuning combinations. The rear monoshock, adjustable in preload and rebound, is connected to the swingarm via a linkage system. To tackle any terrain, the BKX 125 comes with suspension travel of 180 mm and a set of spoked wheels measuring 19”/17”, just like modern adventure bikes (90/90-19” front and 120/90-17” rear).
Powering the BKX 125 is a new 125cc Euro 5+ liquid-cooled single-cylinder, four-stroke engine (bore x stroke: 54 x 54.5 mm), delivering power and torque values that perfectly comply with A1 license limits: 15 hp (11 kW) at 9,500 rpm and 12,1 Nm (1.2 kgm) at 7,000 rpm.
As for the braking system, the BKX 125 is equipped with a 280 mm front disc paired with a four-piston caliper, while at the rear it features a 240 mm disc with a single-piston caliper.
In terms of proportions, the BKX 125 offers a seat height of 860 mm and a ground clearance of 233 mm, with a wheelbase measuring 1.430 mm and a weight of just 144 kg. Combined with its slim yet well-sized 12-litre fuel tank and excellent fuel efficiency, the bike can achieve a range of up to 500 km.
