JOB PURPOSE
The Wellness Attendant maintains cleanliness and hygiene standards provided by HK team in wellness areas including SPA, Pools & Fitness floors. Keeps all amenities in the SPA, Pools & Fitness, Sports Center areas replenished. Assist Wellness reception team and wellness guests with requested information, preparing welcome drinks and post treatment tea, Upsell and Cross sell wellness services within the property as assigned in accordance with Company service standards.
RESPOSIBILITIES
· Clean and maintain assigned areas in accordance with established checklists and standards.
· Acknowledged about the Wellness & Recreation facilities including the equipment maintenance manuals.
· Keep updated the amenities inventory and restock when requested.
· Communicate with other departments’ team members to proactively assist our guests.
· Assist HK team in cleaning duties for opening and closing of wellness department.
· Observes and patrols pool and enforces safety regulations
· Ensure that a safe, hygienically fit working environment for employees and guests.
· Monitor all wellness guests’ satisfaction status and report to wellness reception all related information.
· Reports on accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and / or security issues to the wellness superior.
· Monitors the status of all equipment and notifies the wellness supervisor if there is any required need for maintenance or repair.
· Ensures that confidentiality and/or discretion is always maintained regarding guest’s information and activities within Ararat property.
· Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
· Performs other reasonable job duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.
Administrative Duties:
· Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures Manual.
· Maintain inventory of supplies for the operations of the wellness facilities.
· Maintain accurate records as required by provincial regulations.
· Attend weekly/monthly facility operations departmental communications meeting.
Health and Safety:
· Follow and ensure that all employees follow all safety procedures and practices.
· Adherence to all Facility Operations departmental Emergency Procedures/Safety Manual.
· Ensure all departments adhere to all safety practices of the hotel.
Employee Relations:
· Ensure operations department maintains a positive relationship with all departments and Residence.
· Complete understanding of and adheres to the hotel's policy relating to safety.
· Ensure that employee is well versed in all wellness operations (cross trained).
· Ensure all employees adhere to all hotel standards as stated in the employee handbook.
Experience
Previous relevant experience is an advantage
Education
· High School Diploma
Skills / Competencies
· Patience and ability to follow through
Ability to work on flexible shifts including overnight weekends and holiday on rotation basis
Ability to lift minimum 13 kg
Ability to work in various weather conditions
Has strong sense of teamwork and is committed to the team
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Possesses strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent command of English and Greek
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year experience in Hotels, HK, Wellness, Spa and Fitness.
